2. Billing and General Uploading of Listings
2.1 Our Free Basic Listing provides an opportunity to upload a single business listing only. You have the ability to upload a title, description and basic details. Our free plan includes one image upload, but does not include our verified business green tick or feature on our homepage. Basic listings are not SEO optimised. You can upgrade anytime, by viewing your free listing in your dashboard and clicking “More > Change Plan” anytime or clicking the link ‘Upgrade Your Plan’ link in our website footer.
2.2 Our Premium Listing Plan showcases your business to our web traffic and search engines. Choose from a single or multiple (upto 10) listing uploads all managed via your listing dashboard. Backlinks have ‘do follow’ applied to boost your Google page rank, without requiring a reciprocal link. Premium listings gain prime homepage placement, alongside a verified business green tick and event management. You have the ability to upload upto 8 images, select multiple categories and include a video url. We also optimise your page, apply SEO and submit your listing to Google using our fast-track submission tools.
2.3 Our Yearly Business Listing Plan (When promoted and active): Our yearly subscription plan allows you to upload upto 10 standard listings and 10 featured homepage listings – ideal if you want to promote different services or products for your business and target multiple counties. SEO and Digital Agencies wanting to promote their clients and gain a valuable page rank boost find this plan very useful. Listings under this plan gain the verified business green tick and listings appear automatically on our homepage and at the top of search results. We include a ‘do follow’ link back to your website address for Google to help give your page rank a boost. No link back to us is needed. Your listing page and business details are submitted to Google for indexing through our ‘quick indexing’ tools and we maintain your listing every month to ensure it is actively working for you.
2.4 We provide Paypal and Stripe as our current secure payment gateways and you can cancel anytime.
2.5 Removing your listing may have a negative impact on search engines and we are not responsible for any deminished page rank on Google should you decide to cancel your listing.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1. Businesses retain the right to cancel their listing at any time.
3.2 OnTheHighStreet.co.uk has the right to remove any listing without notice should it be considered the listing be deemed unappropriate for our audiences.
3.3 OnTheHighStreet.co.uk reserves the right to cancel any user subscription without notice if it is found the directory has been spammed or used in a way it was not intended. No refunds shall be given.
3.4 Once payment has been received for a listing or banner advert no refunds will be given.
4. Listing Removal and SEO Impact
4.1. Upon cancellation, the business listing will be promptly removed from OnTheHighStreet.co.uk.
4.2. Removal of a listing may impact the business’s page rank on search engines, including Google. OnTheHighStreet.co.uk bears no responsibility for any SEO consequences resulting from listing removal.
5. Refund Policy
5.1. No refunds will be issued for listing upload fees. Fees are non-refundable. Business listings are active on our directory 24/7 and crawled by Google bots for indexing thus assisting with the visibility of businesses across search engines.
6. Business Services
6.1. OnTheHighStreet.co.uk offers a business service designed to enhance online presence and visibility on search engines, particularly on Google / Bing.
6.2. The effectiveness of our services in improving page rank or other aspects of online presence is not guaranteed.
7. General Terms
7.1. OnTheHighStreet.co.uk reserves the right to modify or terminate services, amend pricing, or update these terms and conditions at any time. Businesses will be notified of such changes via email or by notice on the website.
7.2. Businesses are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information, including login credentials.
7.3. OnTheHighStreet.co.uk is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from system outages, technical malfunctions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
7.4. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the business and OnTheHighStreet.co.uk, superseding any prior agreements.
8. Directory Usage
8.1 The Directory serves as a platform allowing Users to create and manage Listings for Businesses located on UK high streets.
8.2 Users are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information provided in their Listings.
8.3 Users may upload images, provide descriptions, and contact details related to the Business they list, within the confines of applicable laws and regulations.
9. Eligibility
9.1 Users must be at least 18 years of age to use the Directory.
9.2 Users must have the necessary permissions to create Listings on behalf of the Businesses they represent.
10. Content Guidelines
10.1 All content provided in Listings must adhere to our content guidelines, including:
10.1.1 No offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content is allowed.
10.1.2 All images and descriptions must be accurate, relevant, and non-misleading.
10.1.3 Content must not infringe on any intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
10.2 We reserve the right to remove or edit content that violates these guidelines.
11. User Responsibilities

13. Privacy

14.1 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a User’s access to the Directory, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Any “Spam” of “Spoof” listings will be removed immediately.

16. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
